STONEDEAD FESTIVAL INFO

On arrival, please have all tickets and camping passes ready to be checked.

Everyone camping MUST have a valid Camping pass & Arena ticket. Campervans must have a Campervan Pass (one per vehicle required.) All occupants MUST have a valid Camping pass & Arena ticket.

This is one big happy rock n roll family and as such all ages are welcome at Stonedead Festival…but there are few rules…

  • Children are allowed in to the arena but must be accompanied by a full paying adult
  • Children under 4 years of age enter for free
  • Children under 16 must enter with an adult, and under 14s must be accompanied by an appropriate adult at all times
  • The adult is completely responsible for the care and behaviour of the child

There will be no child-specific facilities anywhere on site, Stonedead is a small festival and other than bands, drink, food and merch stall, there is very little else.

Please be aware that there will be an adult themed content throughout the festival which all adults with children should be aware of.

Camping

There is no quiet camp but we do have lots of space.

Safety

Please provide proper ear defenders for the children, decent sun block and do not leave them unattended. Please keep them well away from the mosh pit. Other than that we hope you have a fantastic time please remember it is a long day for small children.

Lost Children

If you are attending with children under the age of 16, you will be issued with a young persons wristband on arrival at the box office to put this on the child for the entire weekend. There is space on the wristband to write the parent/guardian/carer’s phone number which we would ask you to do as soon as you receive it.

We also recommend the parent/guardian/carer take a photo of the child every morning on their own mobile phone in case you should get separated at any point over the weekend.

Procedure:

  •  The parent/guardian/carer takes a photograph of the child every morning on their own camera/phone
  •  This picture is retained by the parent/guardian/carer so there are no issues with data protection or safeguarding impacting site staff
  •  Only if a child is reported lost is the picture used by the parent/guardian/carer to inform site security/stewards/safeguarding team of the current appearance of the child

This will make it a lot easier for the security team to help them find the child quickly and reunite them with the parent/guardian/carer.

If you should lose a child, please inform a steward as soon as possible. The area identified for Lost Children is the Information Tent by the main entrance to the arena.

We all love our canine companions, however due to the nature of the environment at Stonedead, dogs are not allowed in the Campsite, Arena and Car Parks; other than registered assistance dogs. Assistance dog owners must provide recognised documentation in order to gain access and the dog must be wearing the appropriate collars/vests.

Anyone requiring assistance can also bring a personal assistant with a free PA ticket.

Any questions on this matter, please email access@stonedeadfestival.co.uk.

Car parking is free and included in your ticket.

Camper vans/Caravans require a Camper Van/Caravan Vehicle Pass that is purchased separately.

A separate Disabled Parking area will be available for those who are only attending for the day to make it easier to return to your car should you need to at any point, along with a taxi drop off area at the arena entrance.

There will be numerous food and drink stalls selling soft drinks and alcohol and everything from Chinese, Mexican Burgers, Hog Roast, Jacket Spuds, Steak Baps to Full English Breakfast, and much more.

Free drinking water will be available at designated water points in the campsites and arena.

Alcohol

Although alcohol will be on sale within the arena, you are also welcome to bring enough alcohol for your own personal consumption into the campsite but are limited to the following in the arena:

Quantity per person: 4 cans of beer/lager/cider/pre-mixed-spirit-cans OR 750ml wine/spirits.

NO GLASS ALLOWED ON SITE

Are camping chairs allowed in the arena?

Yes, of course! We all need to take a comfy seat sometimes, all we ask if that you please be considerate to our other festival goers where you place them.  We ask all festival goers to be respectful of others.  If patrons are sat away from the stage, please try and be courteous and not stand in their way obscuring their view.

When you purchase your festival ticket please ensure you fill out the Accessibility Form should you need a PA Ticket (they’re free), to ensure we have all of your relevant details.

We have a dedicated team member, Nikki, whom you should contact if you have any specific needs. We will always do our absolute best to accommodate your requests. At the outset of Stonedead, we set out to make this festival enjoyable for all rock fans. If you have a query please drop Nikki an email at access@stonedeadfestival.co.uk

Arena Facilities

In the arena itself the ground is very flat with hard walkways around the perimeter and good drainage. All food and drink stands and merchandise stalls will be located close to the walkway. There will be a safe viewing platform which will be able to accommodate anyone who informs us in advance they will be attending. The viewing platform will be manned by volunteers to offer any help required and will be positioned to make sure you still feel part of the festival. Disabled toilets will be located close by.

We have sheltered premises indoors where you can get away from the crowd and the noise for a while, sit down, relax and feel at home. This is going to be right next door to the first aid team. So, if you are feeling a bit fragile, you can still come along and enjoy yourself.

In addition, there will be a fridge for medication and accessible toilet and shower facilities in a permanent structure (there will be portable toilets in the arena and campsite though).

Campsite Facilities

We have a designated disabled camping area, adjacent to the brick toilet and shower block (with disabled Ladies and Gents Toilets) and close to the arena. This area is next to staff camping and
close to Festival HQ which will be manned 24/7 should you require assistance at any time.

Car Parking

A separate Disabled Parking area will be available for those who are only attending for the day to make it easier to return to your car should you need to at any point, along with a taxi drop off area at the arena entrance.

Any other questions…

No animals/pets of any kind are allowed onsite with the exception of assistance animals.  Assistance dog owners must provide recognised documentation in order to gain access and the dog must be wearing the appropriate collars/vests.

At our festival HQ we will have the facility to charge wheelchairs / scooters, along with a fridge for storing medication should this be required.

Smoke machines, strobe lighting, fireworks and special effects may be in use at this event. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind.

NO DOGS are permitted into the Arena, Car Parks or Campsites

If you are with friends and are camping together or travelling home together arrange a place and time to meet up at the end of the night.

Large crowds, a long day and hot weather in combination will tire you out. Make sure you pace yourself, drink plenty of water, eat food that will give you some energy and minimise sun exposure.

For everyone’s safety and enjoyment during the festival, please feel free to use camping chairs in the arena but ensure they are sensibly placed without causing obstruction to other festival goers.
