Directions from A1

The Newark showground is just off the A1 Newark junction (A46 Exit Towards A17/Sleaford/Lincoln/Newark). Follow the A46 to Lincoln and watch for signposts advertising the showground.

Well the good news is that the ongoing roadworks won’t affect us over the weekend other than mandatory speed restrictions due to equipment still being in the area. They stop at 5am on Friday 23rd August and resume at 9pm on Sunday 25th August.

Train Travel:

We have been advised by LNER is that trains won’t be stopping at Newark North Gate on the Saturday (subject to change) and the upcoming repair works on the crossing there won’t take place until after the festival on the Monday. So any of you travelling to Newark Via train on the weekend should aim to arrive at Newark Castle. Please bear it in mind, and please check the relevant travel sites for any info that may change from now until the day and we will do our best to keep you informed. There may be bus replacement services provided by LNER depending on your departure point so please check before booking to avoid potential disappointments.

Please check National Rail website to keep up to date with all the latest potential disruptions etc.
