ONE DAY, ONE MONSTER RIDE

ONE DAY, ONE MONSTER RIDE

Following a first time visit to Stonedead last year Roger Sketcher, Tony Harper, Steve Riordan and Mark Dempsey fell in love with the festival. In their own words it is “A really great vibe, chilled, and similar to Ramblin Man we went to a few years ago and also loved.”
As a group, this team have also been to Download festival most years and MOR back in the day, rock music fans through and through.

After attending Stonedead for the first time, the idea of a charity bike ride came about over a few beers, and fit in with the stonedead concept… “one day/one ride” …

After some planning and many chats over more beers, the Donington to Stonedead bike ride is set to go.
The “One day, One Monster bike ride” will take place on Friday 26th August and will go from Donington to the Stonedead festival site with a stop off and photo opportunity at Rock City in Nottingham.
The team will be set to arrive at the Stonedead Festival site just before the Friday night party kicks off!
All members of the team of riders have had mental health and family issues with lockdown and Covid, hence choosing Mind as the charity, which we fully support and the team at Stonedead are delighted with this and thrilled to have this amazing effort as a part of our festival.
